| Chris
qualified as an engineer and spent the early part of his career in
manufacturing management with Jaguar cars. He then moved to the CEGB,
and thus Powergen, at privatisation. Chris undertook a range of roles
in the finance function before becoming Power Station Manager of
Rheidol and Connah's Quay Power Stations. His subsequent roles included
responsibility for electricity trading in the Power Pool
and operations and customer service at East Midlands
Electricity
Distribution. Chris then joined Scottish Power as Director of
Operations in the Generation Business where he had responsibility for
all the company's UK sites including wind farms, pumped storage,
hydro-electric, biomass, CHP sites and major coal and CCGT plants. He
later joined the Environment Agency as Executive Director, Performance
and Innovation before founding Ocean Electric Power to
develop
marine renewable energy projects. Chris has an MBA, has attended the
Harvard Business School Advanced Management Programme and is a Fellow
of the RSA. |  |
