Barry Gamble
Barry is Chairman of land agents Fisher German LLP, a member of the advisory board of AIM advisors Inc, Editor at large of BoardRoom magazine and an adviser to companies in the cleantech sector. He was Chairman of fountains plc, an environmental services company with operations in the UK and USA, where he led the MBO and IPO. At fountains he established the vegetation management service for energy utilities and built the forest base to a million acres. He was also an adviser to the Anglo-Australian fund of funds, Stafford Timberland. Barry is a prolific writer and commentator on corporate governance and the roles and responsibilities of directors. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP. He then became Finance Director for the East Anglian Real Property Company and later Director of Grant Thornton UK LLP's National Agricultural Department. Barry brings considerable entrepreneurial experience of company growth and development.
